Who we are

A student-led movement for climate literacy

Climate Education for All (CEFA) is an organization dedicated to expanding climate literacy across universities. We believe that understanding the causes and impacts of the climate emergency should not be limited to environmental degrees.

Engineers, nurses, economists, artists, lawyers: every profession will shape how we respond to the climate crisis. CEFA brings students together to make climate education part of every university experience.

Mission and vision

Our mission

To inspire a student-led movement that expands climate education to all university students, empowering a generation of climate-conscious professionals to make actionable change in their fields.

Our vision

Every young professional understands the causes and impacts of the climate emergency and is actively engaged in driving climate solutions.

What we do

From one campus to every campus

CEFA works through a growing network of students who bring climate education to their universities, with ambassador training and campus campaigns.

Our core values

What guides how we move

Six values shape every training, campaign and conversation we lead.

  • Community

Our work feeds stronger communities, and CEFA is only possible with many community hands working together.

  • Hope

The through-line that keeps us moving. We must keep believing that positive change is possible.

  • Action

Through action, we do the work that needs to get done and lead transformative change.

  • Love

The heart of how we move: the value guiding compassion and service in everything we do.

  • Listening

The key to communication and collaboration. We stay open to new ideas and look for common ground.

  • Collaboration

Together we are stronger. We need everyone’s ideas to inspire the creativity CEFA’s goals demand.

Our logo blends all the elements of nature into one shape. What do you see?

A tree
Rooted in a strong mission and vision.
A helping hand
For each other, and for climate action.
A wave
The CEFA movement, growing across campuses.
A bird’s wing
A symbol of peace, hope, justice and a climate-safe future.
